Registration is open for the 2025/2026 Pickleball Season!
Pickleball blends tennis, badminton, racquetball, and table tennis. Over 40 million people in North America play, according to the Pickleball Association. The sport uses a paddle to hit a perforated plastic ball over a 34-inch (0.86 m) net in singles or doubles matches, indoors or outdoors.
At Colborne, doubles sessions last 2 hours, with 6 or 7 participants per session, each player donating $5 per session. Registration fee is $10 per year. The 7 2-hour Sessions are available at the following times:
Wednesdays - 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Fridays - 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Saturdays - 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Sundays 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Thursdays - 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
Saturdays - 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Sundays - 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Location - In the GYM – upper hall at Colborne Church, 711 Colborne Street at Piccadilly Street.
Parking - Available in LOT off of Colborne, and street parking is available along Piccadilly Street.
What to bring: Wear non-marking court or clean running shoes—street shoes aren't allowed and must be changed before playing to keep the gym floor safe. Bring your own racquet if possible and a water bottle; six spare racquets are available to borrow.
